Hidden Beach in Bali

Melasti Beach

 Bali’s southern region has the most beautiful white sand beaches. Some white sand beach in Bali already famous such as Kuta beach. Also, several white sand beaches are not famous due to of its location which is still hidden and difficult to access by motor vehicle or car.

 Melasti beach in Ungasan, formerly categorized as one of the hidden beaches in south Bali. Because of the beach location was behind the towering limestone hill. Before there was an asphalt road that cut through the limestone hills like today. To get to the beach shore area of Melasti Beach in Ungasan, visitors must descend and climb hundreds of stairs. Due to the isolated location of the beach, making the Melasti Beach Ungasan unknown to many tourists.
The location of this beach located at Bukit Peninsula, Ungasan, therefore its more familiar called as Melasti Beach Ungasan. The address of the Beach located in Ungasan village, South Kuta District, Badung – Bali. Melasti Beach location on the hill of Ungasan close by with Pandawa beach Kutuh. The distance approximately 8.5 kilometers with an estimated travel time of about 25 minutes.
The main point of interest of Melasti Beach Ungasan is on the access road to the beach location. To get the beach shore, you have to pass through winding derivative path which is above the towering white limestone cliffs. The access roads to the beach location flanked by white rock cliff. It is like a cliff that you saw on the way to the Pandawa Beach Kutuh Bali. Currently, the access road to Melasti Beach Ungasan has been asphalt. So the path to the beach can be easily pass through by cars.
When you drive through the road above the cliffs, you can see the Melasti Beach Ungasan beautiful scenery. Therefore, many engage couples chose a limestone cliff path road that leading to the beach as a pre-wedding photo location, with the background of the cliff, or the backdrop of the Indian Ocean.
On arrival at the beach shore, you will see a relatively large vehicle parking area and it very easy to find a car park. At this moment the tourist visits to the Melasti Beach Ungasan is not crowded. Well if you like a vacation to the white sand beach which offers cleanliness and not many visitors, now is the best time to visit the Melasti Beach. Because if the infrastructure construction completed, Melasti Beach crowded with tourist visits.
Most of the visitors’ activity on the Beach is sitting on the edge of the beach sand. On the surface of the sand, you still can see a lot of small crabs. The ocean waves on the Beach shoreline is not too big, so it is perfect for swimming. If you like snorkeling activities, do not forget to bring your snorkeling gear, due to the sea water is very clear, as well as the underwater scenery is gorgeous.
If you are interested to see the sunset view, Melasti Beach Ungasan is not the perfect place for sunset scenery, because the beach location located at the south side of Bali island. Therefore, if the sun’s position leaning to the south, then you can see the sunset on this beach.
