School Event : Gathapraya

       

          Hello! So, today i want to tell you about my school recent event named was Gathapraya.  My school has an annual event. Last year it named “Megantara” but this year is “Gathapraya”.
         
          The event began with a Parade Nusantara from morning at 08.00 AM. The students of 3 Senior High School are required to attend the parade and the dresscode was East Java traditional clothes. The route is : Siliwangi Park and Sports Center - Aceh Street - Belitung Street - Sumatera Street - Jawa Street and finished in Lapang Bali. It’s so tiring but we had so much fun. We finally arrived in Lapang Bali in 11.30 AM and Gathapraya will be opened at 14.00 PM. So i take a rest in my friend's
home that are close from Lapang Bali before i attend Gathapraya.

         “Oh it’s 2 o’clock! we’re gonna late. Hurry up, guys!” said my friend. We are in a hurry because we wont skipped the performances. We ran to Lapang Bali and before we in, we must get checked by the committee. Oh, you must pay sixty-five thousand rupiah for one ticket, and this event is open for everyone! Continueing my story, when i’m get in to Lapang bali, there are so much food stands. They are sells so many various of foods and drinks. Also they are so many traditional stands. Oh, I meeting up with my junior high school friends. We are get around Lapang Bali. There are so much unique stands. We watched every performances. It was great!

        The day is getting dark. It’s 6 o’clock now. The more people in here. It’s getting crowded. We watched TST — it’s a drama show, the group is from 3 Senior High School. After that, we watched Vina Chandrawati — she is an amazing sand painters. Elephant Kind give their performance. And it’s time for my favourite group band, HIVI! They are my favourite performance and they given their best performance. We are singing together. Its so fun! And the peak from the event was from Nidji and their performance was for closing the event. But too bad, it rain. Its 22.30 PM now and i had to go home. So, i can’t watch Nidji. So sad :(

But it’s fine. Today was an amazing day. Gathapraya had so much fun. I hope the next event will be more powerful than Gathapraya. :)
